    Discover Singapore's Hidden Gems

Image: Adina Serviced Apartments Singapore Orchard

SINGAPORE: Stepping ashore onto the sunny, tropical island of Singapore brings you to a modern and vibrant city that offers its visitors food, fun and culture. While Singapore used to be considered a ‘stopover’ for travellers on the way to its larger Asian neighbours, this is no longer true as the country is now a highly desirable vacation spot.

    A Shopper’s Paradise

When it comes to shopping, Singapore’s famous shopping district at Orchard Road boasts a diverse selection of luxury, lifestyle and fashion stores that offers the perfect dose of retail therapy. Discover and support some of the locally established brands at Ngee Ann City and 313@Somerset in the heart of Orchard Road.

    Singapore's Scenic Views

Take a stroll around one of Singapore’s historical hilltop landmarks at Fort Canning Park.  The hill once hosted the palaces of 14th century kings and was also the headquarters of a secret World War II Command Centre. Round up your visit at the popular Instagram-worthy spot at the underground tunnel with a spiral staircase for the ultimate travel memento.

Gardens by the Bay - a popular horticultural attraction -  is the spot to enjoy nature and greenery among tourists and locals alike. Explore seasonal flower displays at the flower dome, and head to the Supertrees at night for Garden Rhapsody - a whimsical light and sound show that is sure to impress.

Insider Tip: Chill out after a day of shopping in front of the Marina Bay Sands, where you can sit and enjoy equally beautiful day and night city views. And if you're in it for the gram, why not snap a fun picture nearby at one of Singapore’s iconic monuments, the Merlion statue.

    Arts and Culture Galore

Explore Singapore’s oldest museum - the National Museum of Singapore - which showcases fresh perspectives of Singapore history through creative storytelling in its many galleries. The museum also hosts seasonal installations throughout the year, so be sure to keep updated with the events program on their website.

If you love your art then the National Gallery of Singapore, located in the heart of the Civic District, is the place for you. The Gallery exhibits an impression public collection of Singaporean and Southeast Asian modern art.

Or, for a touch of culture, the Asian Civilisations Museum focuses on exploring the rich artistic heritage of Asia and historic connections between cultures and civilisations in Asia and the World.

    Feast and Indulge

A visit to Singapore is not complete unless you take your taste buds on the journey. If you are craving for Asian delights, head to Pi Food located just opposite Dhoby Ghaut MRT station where you can feast on authentic Hong Kong-style food that you can normally find in Hong Kong’s traditional cafes (also known as ‘Cha Chaan Teng’).

Or, for a taste of home, enjoy a hearty Australian-style brunch at Sarnies, which also serves aromatic, freshly roasted coffee that is guaranteed to satisfy a coffee fix. Their expansive menu ranging from sweet, savoury and even vegetarian options would satisfy any tastebud.

Dessert is a great way to finish off a meal and in Singapore it's an absolute must-do. Our top tip is to head to L'éclair Pâtisserie for delectable eclairs that come in a variety of delicious flavours. Or, if you are feeling indulgent, try out their High Tea Degustation menu with sweet and savoury pastries.
