GERMANY: The Adina Checkpoint Charlie, in the heart of Berlin, permanently exhibits around 40 works of art by Australian and Indigenous artists. 

Guests checking in for a city staycation could almost believe they are walking into an Australian gallery, with stunning works of art on display in the hotel’s public areas and guest apartments. All are carefully curated by the Adina design team and designed to project the Australian lifestyle that our guests value so highly.

The black-and-white Indigenous designs on cotton fabrics, fiery embroidered wall hangings with elaborate ornaments, and atmospheric black-and-white photographs with nature motifs and urban scenes evoke a sense of Australia throughout the entire hotel.

Canvas prints adorn the living and sleeping areas in the apartments and are perfectly complimented by earth-toned ornaments with Aboriginal motifs.  Intricately embroidered bed linen, in radiant shades of red, continues the theming into the bedroom.
